I like my stay at the hotel. However, on my second night we had to wait for almost one and a half hour at the airport after coming back from a day out in the city for the hotel shuttle. We reached at the airport at about 8pm and had to wait for a supposed to be 24 hour service of shuttle bus to the hotel for that long which had really spoiled our stay as both my 2 children were very tired and exhausted coming back from new york and had to wake up very early for our morning flight. Otherwise it was a good stay and my daughter especially love the waffle making machine ..was delicious breakfast!
airport shuttle - very good - even if it's broken they provide taxi, not fare from airport, but doogy area, resonable price for good quality.
The staff was friendly and outgoing, I think to make up for the fact that this hotel is in a very bad part of town. The room was large and clean, but there were holes in the bathroom wall behind the sink. It was a no smoking room, but the bathroom smelled like someone smoked a whole carton 2 minutes before I arrived (the smell was still very noticible the next morning).
The location of this hotel is in an absolutely terrible part of town. If I were travelling with my wife and children, I would have changed hotels. I don't get scared easily, but I wouldn't walk from the hotel to get something to eat. I actually took the shuttle back to the airport to eat. I waited over an hour for the shuttle on on 2 seperate occasions. While waiting you watch all these nice mini busses go past several times, then comes the rickety, worn out, and dirty America's Best van! I chose this hotel because of the price I'm sure for 20 bucks more, you could double your pleasure, and feel safe
i like the people here, because they're really nice..the person who pick us also take us to the market,,the indians ,thet're friendly...the people who help us check in is very parient.. room is good ,too
The hotel accommoded our check-in time in a way to suit our need.
It was very cheap. Breakfast was adequate.
Location in a very rough area outside of Newark. The shuttle pick up in the early hours of the morning felt like we were going to be abducted and shot. The hotel itself was scary. Walking down the corridors you could hear screams and people shouting and this was at 2am. Slept with one eye on the door and couldn't wait to leave as soon as it was light.
Complimentary shuttle service from Newark International - just a quick phone call and the bus was there within 10 minutes.
This hotel is poorly located. There was partying and fights at all hours and the staff did not speak sufficient English to be helpful. The lobby area has the check in desk behind a glass screen....enough said? We also didnt get the room we asked for, we got a king bed and a pull out couch with no linen which we had to request three times!
very near to highway(Garden State Parkway) and nice meal and dining area.
We checked in late at night and very tired. The room was cold and had a very strong odor in it.
Basic clean and comfortable hotel, fairly convenient for the airport. Good breakfast served. Efficient and friendly staff.
Noise ! Paper thin walls, floor and ceiling creaked. You can hear traffic noise all night because the double glazing is poor. Add slamming doors, generators and noisy neighbours, got virtually no sleep after a trans atlantic flight. Would not recommend walking around the local area.
the staff was very kind and professional and the room was big and clean
the 5 dollars the hotel made me paid for the hair dry the breakfast and the neighbourhood
The free continental breakfast and freindly staff were very pleasing and accomodating.
I booked 2 king rooms at this hotel, but was given 2 queen doubles. The only items that I would comment on are that in one of the rooms, the air conditioning did not work properly and did not cool. The climate was cool, so this was not such a big deal during this stay. The 2nd room had a smoke/cigarette smell in it and no microwave/fridge. The smoke smell was minimum and the lack of microwave/fridge did not hamper this stay, otherwise we would have brought it to the staff attention.
The staff is Fantastic all around. Very friendly, very welcoming, simpley put Good people from the shuttle drivers to the hotel receptionist to the lady setting up the breakfast in the morning. I also appreciate the breakfast. It isn't super fancy shmancy but, they have warm bagels w/ cream cheese , muffins, fruit, rice krispies and frosted flakes; Oj and coffee.room was pretty basic. 2 beds( pretty comfy)with no trace of any bedbugs , small couch, table and tv with descent reception(basic and a couple cable channels).bathrooms were clean too with clean towels. Overall a Good spot.
The area for sure is "Hood". Literaly across the street from Housing project but didn't feel sketchy at all when in the hotel. The room itself is a little muggy. Needs a little updateing, a little brightening up, a new paint job maybe new carpet.... I don't know, something also it is Not that close the airport. It's about a 20 min. Drive from so if u plan to stay here while visiting NY......nope, don't do it. I repeat Don't dooooo iiiiiit! Beside that ,it's very affordable( $59 to $79 per night),it was clean and the crew are Great.
The rooms were clean and larger than expected.
The location of the hotel is not in the best neighbourhood.Would not venture outside of the hotel without a car.
